By using ShotList Companion, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
ShotList Companion does not require an account for use, as all data, including session plans, shot lists, equipment checklists, lighting notes, and location details, is stored locally on your device. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device to protect your data. The app developer is not responsible for data loss due to device malfunction or user error, though we implement industry-standard security measures to ensure data stored locally is protected.
ShotList Companion does not involve sharing user-generated content with other users or on public platforms. All session plans, shot lists, and other data remain private and stored locally on your device. You are responsible for ensuring that any manual backups of your data comply with applicable laws and do not infringe on third-party rights.
You may not use ShotList Companion for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, violating any applicable laws or regulations, attempting to reverse-engineer the app, uploading malicious content, or using the app in a way that disrupts its functionality or security.
ShotList Companion is provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranties. The developer makes no representations about the application's reliability, availability, or suitability for any purpose, including the accuracy of weather forecasts, golden hour suggestions, or mapping features provided by the app.
In no event shall the developer be held liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use ShotList Companion, including but not limited to data loss, device malfunction, or any other loss related to the app's use.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of ShotList Companion after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or website.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete your data directly within the app or by uninstalling ShotList Companion. No account termination is required, as no data is stored on our servers.
